Climate Change :We all heard about it, government portals and many companies and organisations talk about it and feature it in their literature. The planning system is being changed to make it easier to use renewable energy and aims that new homes will have zero carbon foot print by 2016. Yet what have we done to control this climate change? Have we done enough? What does it take to save our planet? In our opinion it is really difficult to know whether our planet can be saved from carbon monoxide emission. We simply will not stop such emissions as our hunger grows for improving what we think our quality of life. In a commercially greedy world and Globalisation it is almost impossible to save our world and quality of life as our carbon emission increases. Perhaps there is only one hope we may be able to control or reduce carbon emission and that is through our own individual actions, sacrifice a little of our worldly desires for our planet. Communities can take matters in to their own hands and plan their own zero carbon strategies by conducting feasibility studies of their own area to install renewable energy. Al though there are several grants available to help us towards using and installing renewable and low cost energy technologies, more than often these schemes are difficult to understand or administer or run out too soon. Perhaps our best hope for securing grants are those under community projects which seem to last longer and easier to achieve. Why not offset your carbon foot print abd be zero carbon...
