At long last planning permission is granted :

10 year long wait and now we have secured planning consent to restore, redevelop and build new homes at this internationally significant site dating to First World War. The former RAF Yatesbury airfield is a collection of listed grade II* and grade II buildings and hangars. The airfield played vital role during both world wars training about 250,000 personnel up to it’s closure 1965 where it was used as radio and radar school.
