Major Milestone Achieved :
We have smoothly lifted three huge trusses in to place at hangar 2. This is a most challenging milestone achieved on 16th January 2008. The 25 metre long truss weighing over two tonnes lifted using an 80 ton crane supplied by Ainscough to over 15 metre height and smoothly lowered in to place on top of the supporting columns at about 7 metre height.  It was extremely tense and emotional time not only for Jamal Khanfer but also some of the villagers and members of the RAF Yatesbury Association who served at Yatesbury during the thirties up to 1965.
